Who We Are
Horizon House Sober Living is operated by Marshall and Elizabeth (Liz) Richter, and provides structured, accountability-driven recovery residences for individuals transitioning from treatment into stable, independent living.
We work closely with professionals who want a sober living partner that is consistent, communicative, and aligned with each client's long-term recovery goals. We are not a treatment provider — we serve as the bridge between treatment and independent living, reinforcing the work your team has already begun.
About Our Homes
Horizon House consists of two adjacent residences — His House (men) and Her House (women) — located in Cathedral City. We provide a clean, supportive, and highly structured environment for individuals serious about maintaining sobriety.
Our Program Emphasizes
- Accountability — daily routines, clear expectations, consistent standards
- Integrity & Honesty — coaching residents to show up truthfully and consistently
- Community Structure — peer support, shared responsibility, a culture of growth
- Safety & Stability — a predictable, recovery-focused environment
